Annemarie Nikolaus

I am a German author and free-lance journalist. After about twenty years living in Northern Italy, I moved to France with my daughter Caterina.
Since April 2010 we live in the Auvergne region, about 3 1/2 hours south-east of Paris.

I've studied psychology, journalism, politics and history and many of my stories reflect a bit of that.

I have published some short stories and then began to write novels. My favorite genres are fantasy and historicals.

With the era of e-book I decided to go indie. At the beginning  I've republished  out-of-print work.

As I write in German, most of it is in German. But meanwhile I am in the process of getting my books translated into other languages.

So far, in English you get:

"Magical Stories", a collection of fantastic children's stories, published after editing by fellow authors. E-book at  Amazon and at all other e-book-stores.   Print at Amazon

"Radiant Hope", a short dystopian novel, written with other authors and published as an illustrated Advent calendar. E-book at  Amazon and at all other e-book-stores. Print at Amazon

"Past Crimes", a collection of short historical crime stories with the addition of notes about the centuries, they take place in. Translated by Lisa Rosenblatt. E-book at  Amazon and at all other e-book-stores. Print at Amazon

"Silenced", a short thriller. Translated by Nick Lannigan. E-book at  Amazon and at all other e-book-stores. Print at Amazon
